Bob Iger Memoirs, Will You Read?

According to an NY Post article, current CEO of The Walt Disney Company Bob Iger, is shopping for an author to write his memoirs.  The article states the following:

“…two-time Pulitzer Prize-winner David McCullough. He wrote one of Iger’s favorite books, “The Wright Brothers.”

The article goes on to say, “According to promotional literature, Iger’s book is on leadership and management.”  It will “explores the ideas, values and growth strategies he has developed in his 11 years as CEO of Disney, the world’s largest media company.”

November 2016 Livestream Event – “A Frozen Holiday Wish”

It has been a while since my last post and I do apologize for that.  The past few months have been a bit of a whirlwind with the birth of my new daughter, moving, new home and other major changes. So here is some information regarding the upcoming Livestream from WDW.

The Season’s First ‘A Frozen Holiday Wish’ Castle Lighting November 7 at 6:25 p.m. EST.

As we all know, the day after Halloween starts the holiday season in theme park world. Disney parks have transformed overnight into winter wonderlands for the next couple of months.  That being said, November 7th at 6:25p.m. EST, Disney will Livestream “A Frozen Holiday Wish” straight from the Magic Kingdom.

These livestreams are the greatest way to enjoy Disney Parks from the comfort of your own home.  If this doesn’t get you in the mood to start saving for a trip I don’t know what will!

Enjoy the show!

Disney To Help Fix The Long Lines At Airports??

Don’t forget to join the TalkDisneyToMe Facebook Group

This was an interesting comment and I never thought of it before. Former senator Bob Kerrey says that the government should ask The Walt Disney Co to help in the reduction of lines at airports.

“I don’t think the government can do this. If you went to Walt Disney and said, ‘Can you reduce the size of the lines?’ Nobody runs lines better than Disney,” Kerrey told CNBC

Disney uses RFID technology in magicbands which collects some private information of guests while waiting in lines.  The issue is the collection of this private information as not everyone is a fan of it. Its an interesting thought and maybe in the future we will see something like this in place. Just think,  MagicBands at the airport???
